MOZAMBIQUE - Mozambique is facing its worst flooding in a generation.
Tens of thousands of people have been rescued as swollen rivers submerge towns, farms, and major roads.
More than 125 people have died since the start of the rainy season.
International teams from Brazil, South Africa and the UK have now joined rescue efforts.
Families are scrambling to escape rising waters, seeking shelter on higher ground.
Nationwide, more than 640,000 have been affected.
Some are still stranded on rooftops and treetops, reluctant to abandon their property.
Emergency centres have now been set up in schools and churches to house thousands.
