MARIKANA - Fourteen illegal miners have been found dead in Marikana, North West.
Their bodies were discovered in an abandoned shaft near the Nkaneng Informal Settlement on Monday morning.
Several other miners were injured in the incident.
The North West police commissioner is reportedly on his way to the scene.
It's not clear yet what caused the deaths and injuries.
