POLOKWANE - Eight people have been killed in a horrific bus crash in Limpopo.
The accident happened on the N1 highway near the Witvlag turn-off on Thursday night.
Authorities say 17 passengers suffered moderate injuries while five others people sustained minor injuries.
The bus was travelling from Malawi to Gauteng.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident was caused by mechanical failure.
The highway remains closed.
