JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA is taking the SAPS to court over its decision to clear General Wally Rhoode and Constable Rekhoto, the two officers implicated in the Phala Phala scandal.
The party says the disciplinary process was flawed and failed to properly consider findings by the Public Protector and IPID.
ActionSA says the records it received were only four and two pages long, with no evidence of witnesses being called or evidence presented.

It is asking the North Gauteng High Court for the full record of the disciplinary process.
ActionSA says it will then challenge the decision to clear the two officers and seek a new disciplinary process.
