PRETORIA - Alleged holiday swindler Premila Shunmugam has been granted R100,000 bail.
Shunmugam, of Silver Touch Events and Travel, allegedly scammed dozens of clients out of millions of rand with fake luxury holidays.
She promised dream trips to Mauritius, Dubai, and Zanzibar.
But as departure dates approached, the truth emerged: There were no bookings, no flights, no holidays.
She faces more than 20 criminal charges.
