JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress (ANC) has slammed the Democratic Alliance (DA) for publicly announcing a reshuffle of its Ministers in the Government of National Unity.
The ANC says only President Cyril Ramaphosa has the authority to appoint or remove members of the executive.
It says the statement of intent is clear that the president is not subject to coalition partners or lobby groups.
The party says the public announcement is an attempt to undermine the Ramaphosa's authority.
It is also slamming the use of strategic portfolios as a tool for the DA's factional battles.
