JOHANNESBURG - The ANC is hosting regional general councils to prepare for December's crucial National General Council.
The councils are meeting across several provinces, including KwaZulu-Natal, where the party suffered great losses in last year's general elections.
These meetings are also aimed at laying out the plans for the upcoming regional and provincial conferences.
It's expected that the ANC will also be unpacking the progress made in its renewal project.
Several party leaders are expected to be in attendance, including National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe
