Andrea Johnson to continue Madlanga testimony

PRETORIA - Former Independent Directorate Against Corruption head Advocate Andrea Johnson continues her testimony at the Madlanga Commission.

On Monday, the Inquiry focused on an all too familiar procurement problem.

It questioned fraud and corruption charges linked to a Crime Intelligence forklift worth nearly R1 million. A supplier was paid but never delivered the forklift, in what is clearly a breach of contract.

Johnson has been testifying at the commission since last week Tuesday, facing questions related to the inner workings of the NPA anti-corruption unit.

She has been accused of abusing her powers, by targeting certain individuals in Crime Intelligence.
