Another taxi boss to join Joe ‘Ferrari’ Sibanyoni in dock

MIDDELBURG - A taxi boss millionaire is expected to join Joe ‘Ferrari’ Sibanyoni and two others in the dock on Friday in connection with an extortion case.

The businessman, also from Mpumalanga, who cannot be named until he appears in court, handed himself over to the police on Friday. He will alongside the three other co-accused apply for bail.

Speaking to eNCA ahead of the bail application, the second taxi boss's legal representative said his client fully cooperated with the police.

“He has never been at large. We have been cooperating. He was not aware that the police were looking for him up until we inquired with prosecution and the police. He has now handed himself over, he has been processed and we will proceed with bail,” the attorney said.

Police previously said they had been trying to get hold of the man since Wednesday.
