THEMBISA - The Special Investigating Unit has secured R42.4million in cash and assets linked to alleged bribes at Tembisa Hospital.
They include properties, pension benefits and investments.
The SIU said the money is linked to businessman Stefan Govindraju's alleged syndicate.
It said the syndicate used 75 companies to secure around R600 million in hospital contracts and R100million was paid to hospital officials as kickbacks.
Govindraju was arrested last month and faces 70 charges linked to the alleged corruption.
The SIU has referred evidence of possible criminal conduct to the NPA and is continuing to recover money the state lost.
