VREDENBURG - The woman arrested for allegedly setting Kelly Smith's house on fire is appearing in the Vredenburg magistrate's court.
It came after Smith was convicted of kidnapping and trafficking her daughter, Joshlin.
Her house in Middelpos was torched just hours after she and her two accused were convicted.

Smith, her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis and his friend, Stevano van Rhyn were found guilty.
Western Cape Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile says the search for Joshlin continues.
Her missing person docket remains open, and police say they will be pursuing Kelly Smith for answers.
