Asbestos trial | Lead investigator denies intimidating Cholota

BLOEMFONTEIN - The lead investigator in the asbestos trial has denied intimidating and threatening Moroadi Cholota.

Hawks' Captain Benjamin Calitz told the Free State High Court that he went to Cholota's flat in the US with his colleague and two FBI agents.

Calitz claims Cholota was arrogant, and despite this, they treated her with respect.

Ace Magashule’s former PA is challenging the constitutionality of her extradition, and if she wins, criminal charges against her may be dropped.

Judge Philip Loubser says Cholota's trial within a trial could run for two weeks.
