PRETORIA - Auditor-General Tsakani Maluleke is releasing the 2023/24 local government audit outcomes.
She will present the report to the Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance in Parliament.

Maluleke will cover the annual audits of 135 local government entities.
It follows her earlier appeal to Parliament to intervene in underperforming and non-compliant municipalities.
In the previous financial year, only 34 municipalities received clean audits.
