Bellarmine Mugabe, co-accused back in court for bail application

JOHANNESBURG - Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the son of the former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, will return to the Alexandra magistrate's court on Tuesday.

Bellarmine and his co-accused, Tobias Mugabe Matonhodze, are expected to apply for bail.  

They face charges of attempted murder and defeating the ends of justice.

They were arrested after a gardener at Mugabe's upmarket property in Hyde Park was shot and injured.

Police are yet to find the gun used in the shooting, but they've found bullet cartridges on the premises.
