EAST LONDON - Tensions continue to rise between residents of Bongweni informal settlement and private security in East London.
In 2024, evictions there left people's homes destroyed after the court interdict to remove them.
Their homes are being demolished under the court order.
Former SAA board member Yakhe Kwinana is also embroiled in this land dispute.
She's out on bail, facing charges of extortion and malicious damage to property.
