JOHANNESBURG - The Madlanga Commission will resume with Brown Mogotsi on the stand on Tuesday.
The North West businessman, linked to alleged police corruption, now faces a grilling by both the Madlanga Commission and Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee.
Last month, Mogotsi told eNCA that he’s fearing for his life.
That was after police raided his business premises in Mahikeng.
A few weeks later, in a highly suspect incident, he claimed that gunmen sprayed his car with bullets.
Mogotsi’s relationship with police minister Senzo Mchunu and alleged crime boss Cat Matlala will be under scrutiny.
His testimony is set to take place over two days.
Last week, the commission heard evidence about the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department.
Different witnesses detailed how suspended deputy Ekurhuleni police chief Julius Mkhwanazi wielded his power.
Mkhwanazi was allegedly untouchable, and anyone who dared to challenge him lost their jobs and lived in fear.
He is linked to the blue-light saga that involves alleged Big Five cartel member, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala.
