JOHANNESBURG - Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi is back at the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court.
The state and defence are expected to settle on a trial date on Wednesday.
Mogotsi faces charges of perjury and defeating the ends of justice.
They stem from an alleged shootout the State claims he staged.
He was arrested in May shortly after concluding his testimony at the Madlanga Commission.
He was denied bail and labelled a flight risk due to contradictions over his home address.
His second attempt at bail was also denied.
