JOHANNESBURG - The case against alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi has been postponed for the purpose of verifying his address.
This was heard when Mogotsi appeared at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court for a bail hearing on Monday.
The court said it noted the urgency of the matter and thus granted a short postponement to Thursday.
As a result, Mogotsi will remain behind bars until then.
He faces a charge of defeating the ends of justice.
Mogotsi allegedly staged an assassination attempt on himself in Vosloorus last November.
Police linked the firearm found at the scene to other serious cases, including murder and attempted murder.
