JOHANNESBURG - The Calata Group intends to apply to cross-examine former crime intelligence head, Rayman Lalla.
The former uMkhonto WeSizwe member testified before the TRC cases inquiry on Friday.
He disputed evidence from former NPA boss Anton Ackerman that he had never received a formal handover of TRC dockets, despite references to nearly 400 cases.

The inquiry is investigating alleged political interference that stalled the prosecution of apartheid-era crimes. Lalla's counsel said they'll oppose the application.
Proceedings have been adjourned to next Tuesday.
