EAST LONDON - Nigerian televangelist Timothy Omotoso will appear in court on Monday on immigration charges.
The religious community in East London wants him gone.
Omotoso was acquitted of 32 charges of rape, human trafficking and racketeering in April.
He was arrested again on Saturday morning for violating the Immigration Act.
Church leaders in East London are standing behind the women who testified against Nigerian Televangelist, Timothy Omotoso.
They marched on Sunday afternoon to hand over a memorandum demanding that Omotoso be deported from South Africa.
Last month, the man was acquitted on charges including rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.
