CAPE TOWN - Nafiz Modack, said to be one of the Western Cape’s top underworld bosses, was meant to take to the witness box after being on trial for over a year.
But his lawyer has asked for a delay, claiming that Modack isn’t ready.
This latest turn of affairs occurred after accused two Zane Kilian finished his testimony.
Kilian is accused of helping Modack to establish the whereabouts of Anti-Gang Unit detective Charl Kinnear.
Kinnear was shot dead outside his house in September 2020.
Modack has been granted a postponement until Wednesday.
