CAPE TOWN - Tensions remain high in Mitchells Plain following a string of deadly shootings.
Five people died and seven were injured across multiple locations on Thursday.

Police say the attacks are gang-related, and a manhunt is underway, though no arrests have been made yet.
To bolster safety, additional law enforcement officers, including members of the Metro Police and specialised units, have been deployed to the area.
