'Cat' Matlala, co-accused back in court

PRETORIA - The high-profile case involving alleged crime boss Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala is back in court on Monday.

Proceedings were adjourned to allow the State more time to respond to outstanding defence submissions.

Prosecutors said they are still considering fresh representations linked to accused number five, while defence teams insist key documents have not been fully disclosed, stalling progress toward a pre-trial hearing.
