JOHANNESBURG - Alleged criminal kingpin Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala is expected back in the South Gauteng High Court on Tuesday, for his attempted murder case ahead of trial next month.
Matlala, his wife and three co-accused face 25 charges, including 11 counts of attempted murder linked to three separate shooting incidents.

The State alleges that he orchestrated attacks on ex-girlfriend, actress Tebogo Thobejane, DJ Vettys and businessman Joe Sibanyoni.
His legal team is expected to push for access to additional evidence.
Last week's guilty plea in a separate fraud and corruption case could also come under the spotlight.
