CAPE TOWN - Former Cape Town Human Settlements MMC Malusi Booi is a free man, for now.
The Cape Town magistrate's court provisionally withdrew commercial crime charges against him, alleged gang boss, Ralph Stanfield, his wife Nicole, and nine others.
The NPA says police discovered new evidence in the billion-rand housing tender fraud investigation and charges will be reinstated once the investigation is completed.
The murder charges against the Stanfields and others still stand.
