CITRUSDAL - The Citrusdal community is incensed after a local businessman was arrested for child sexual abuse.
The man manages a petrol station where the child's mother works, and is also a close family friend.
He's accused of grooming and sexually assaulting the 12-year-old while she was in his care.
The Teddy Bear Foundation is concerned about the growing abuse cases, particularly against children from farming communities.
The 49-year-old will apply for bail at the Citrusdal magistrate's court on Thursday.
The company he works for would not be drawn to answer regarding alleged past incidents involving the manager.
