PRETORIA - Alleged underworld kingpin Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala will know his fate on Wednesday in connection with the fraud and corruption matter.
Matlala pleaded guilty at the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in the hope of getting a lenient sentence.
The charges related to the R228-million SAPS tender awarded to his company, Medicare24 Tswane District.
Matlala has turned state witness, and he may spill the beans, implicating more top officials.
