Crime Intelligence boss back in court on fraud and corruption charges

JOHANNESBURG - The fraud and corruption case against Crime Intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo, is back in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.

The matter was delayed after the magistrate recused himself.

Khumalo and several senior officials are accused of manipulating recruitment processes to appoint Brigadier Dineo Mokwele to a top post, allegedly despite her lack of policing experience.

They’re all out on R10 000 bail and want the conditions relaxed, so they can return to work.
