TSHWANE - Senior Tshwane Metro Police officers have had enough.
They have staged a picket outside their headquarters, alleging corruption in the department's procurement process.
The officers also claim wrongdoing in the recruitment of Warrant Officers, citing lack of transparency.
In Johannesburg, the city's Metro Police also face corruption problems in their ranks.
The department's internal affairs division is tackling bribery allegations.
Residents of both Tshwane and Johannesburg say it will take a concerted effort to restore accountability and transparency in the two departments.
