CAPE TOWN - Political parties have until the close of business on Friday to submit names of MPs to serve on Parliament’s impeachment committee probing the Phala Phala matter.
The 31-member committee will revisit the report into the theft at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm.
The same report he is challenging through a judicial review.
Speaker Thoko Didiza said the committee will include representatives from all 16 parties in Parliament.
Seats will be allocated according to proportional representation.
Any move to remove the president from office requires a two-thirds majority vote in the National Assembly.
