CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape High Court will hear an application to challenge parts of the Expropriation Act on Monday.
AfriForum, the Democratic Alliance, and the Institute of Race Relations (IRR) Legal want certain provisions of the act struck down.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, Public Works, National Assembly Speaker and NCOP chairperson are respondents in the matter.
AfriForum says their fight against expropriation of land without compensation, is in the interest of everyone in the country.
The matter has been set down for five days until Friday.
