DA hands over 'ANC study group' docket to public service commission

CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance has submitted a dossier to the Public Service Commission, labelling it the 'ANC study group scandal.'

The party claims at least 20 senior officials are implicated.

The DA is demanding a full investigation. It has also submitted a series of ministerial replies to written questions.

The DA says these documents show several officials contravened section 195(1) of the Constitution, which requires state officials to remain impartial and professional.

Officials are accused of meeting with ANC study groups in Parliament before portfolio committee meetings for political discussions. The DA claims this behaviour is a direct result of ANC cadre deployment.
