JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Mayor Dada Morero will deliver the State of the City Address on Wednesday afternoon.
It comes amid a myriad of crises.
The Human Rights Commission is probing a water crisis in the province. Eskom is threatening to pull the plug on the city over unpaid debt.
Joburg communities are also worried about increasing crime rates and the city's decay.
But the Mayor is focusing his speech on his urban regeneration project.
The speech will be delivered at the Cathedral Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in the CBD.
It's to highlight plans for the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Precinct surrounding the cathedral.
