Danny Jordaan, co-accused back in court

JOHANNESBURG - South African Football Association (SAFA) boss, Danny Jordaan’s fraud case continues this Friday.

Jordaan and his co-accused, Safa CFO Gronie  Hluyo, face charges of fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

It is alleged that Jordaan used the federation's resources for personal gain.

This allegedly included hiring a private security company to protect him, as well as a public relations company, following allegations of rape against him.

Trevor Neethling, director of Grit Communications, the PR company implicated in the matter, has also been charged with two counts of fraud.

The three plead innocence.
