Dates set for Joe 'Ferrari' Sibanyoni testimony at Madlanga

PRETORIA - Controversial Mpumalanga businessman Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni is expected to appear before the Madlanga Commission on 28 August and 2 September.

It is understood that the taxi boss’s lawyers were notified of his appearance a few hours ago.

eNCA previously reported that Sibanyoni received a Rule 10.6 notice from the commission earlier this month. His associate, Bafana Bafana Sindane, was also served with the same notice.

Both men have been summoned to answer questions about alleged criminal syndicates and their associates.

Kwagga 20 is an alleged criminal syndicate operating in KwaMhlanga and Siyabuswa. The commission also wants to question Sibanyoni about his links to Jothan Msibi and Steve Motsumi.

Sibanyoni and Sindane are currently out on bail after being arrested on extortion charges.
