JOHANNESBURG - A deputy principal accused of raping an eight-year-old pupil is back at the Bronkhorstspruit magistrate’s court.
The 53-year-old is accused of raping the minor on school premises on three occasions.
He faces three counts of rape.
The educator was arrested after the mother reported the matter to the police.
He is out on R5,000 bail with strict conditions.
The community felt his release was a huge blow to survivors of gender-based violence.
