Heavy downpours caused flooding in the area.
Some roads have been temporarily closed for public safety.
CoGTA MEC Thulasizwe Buthelezi has urged residents to exercise caution.
More storms have been forecast for the province for Monday and Tuesday, which could cause more flooding.
