PRETORIA - Disgraced lawyer Peet Viljoen is set to appear in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday morning.
The court appearance is in connection with a R100-million property fraud scheme that was orchestrated 16 years ago.
His appearance marks a significant legal development in a string of controversies for the former attorney, who was previously struck off the roll of attorneys in 2011.
The former reality TV star flew straight into the arms of the South African police services on Tuesday evening.
This follows his deportation from the United States, after he was arrested along with his wife, Mel, for alleged shoplifting.
