CAPE TOWN – Disgraced former Higher Education Minister Nobuhle Nkabane has been appointed deputy chief whip of the ANC’s parliamentary caucus.

Nkabane was axed last July by President Cyril Ramaphosa following allegations of misleading Parliament and irregular SETA board appointments.
She came under fire for appointing ANC-linked politicians and associates as Seta board chairpersons.
Following her removal, she served on the portfolio committee on agriculture as an ordinary member. She now replaces Doris Mpapane as Deputy Chief Whip.
