DURBAN - A 46-year-old man accused of raping 16 women in Cato Manor is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The suspect faces multiple charges, including rape, housebreaking and attempted murder.
According to police, the suspect targeted women at night, following them from taverns to their homes before concealing his face during the attacks.
DNA evidence has allegedly linked him to the crimes.
The state is expected to outline its case during Monday’s proceedings.
