PRETORIA - A 38-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of two young women in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria.
He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
Tshiamo and Baleseng Moramaga were shot and killed execution-style on Sunday.
The murders have outraged the community with civil society organisation, Not In My Name International, condemning the brutal incident.
The organisation has called for swift justice, visible policing and urgent government action against gender-based violence.
Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko says the man was arrested on Monday at a filling station.
Sibeko says the man has been charged with two counts of murder.
He also faces charges of attempted murder.
