DUBAI - Dubai airports has confirmed a limited resumption of operations begins.
A small number of flights are being operated from Dubai International and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International.
But travellers are being advised not to proceed to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by their airline with a confirmed departure time.
All flights were cancelled a few days ago, leaving thousands of travellers stranded at the airport.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Emirates also began operating a limited number of flights. The limited operations accommodated customers with earlier bookings as a priority.
All Emirates operations to and from Dubai remain temporarily suspended until 3pm UAE time on Tuesday.
“Please do not go to the airport unless you have been notified. All other flights remain suspended until further notice,” the airline said on Monday.
Qatar Airways flight operations remain suspended.
