Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla back in court over 2021 unrest incitement charges

DURBAN - It’s day two of Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla's trial at the High Court in Durban.

She's accused of inciting terrorism and public violence after her father, former president Jacob Zuma, was jailed in July 2021.

What followed was civil unrest that left at least 300 people dead and caused upwards of R50-billion worth of damage to South Africa's economy.

Zuma-Sambudla has pleaded not guilty.

The MK Party and the Jacob Zuma Foundation say her prosecution is politically motivated.
