PRETORIA - The EFF says delays to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry are not surprising.
The commission is investigating criminality, political interference, and corruption in law enforcement.
The hearings were scheduled to start on Monday, but the Justice Department says it could not secure the necessary infrastructure in time.

The EFF has slammed the delay, calling it a deliberate attempt to stifle accountability and protect Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, from facing allegations of corruption and links to criminal networks.
The party says President Cyril Ramaphosa used the Commission as a political ploy and accuses him of prioritising political loyalty over the nation.
The EFF has again called for Mchunu's removal, and is urging Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga to step aside, saying the process has been discredited.
