JOHANNESBURG - An Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) MP has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer at the Brooklyn police station in Pretoria.
Police say the 33-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday night after allegedly causing a commotion at the station’s Client Service Centre over the commissioning of an affidavit.
She was released on a warning and is expected to appear in the Hatfield Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
