JOHANNESBURG - The City of Ekurhuleni has suspended two senior management officials.
The Head of Department for Legal Services and Risk, Advocate Kemi Behari and the Head of Department of Human Resources, Linda Qxasheka, have been suspended.
The metro says the suspensions are part of consequence management and institutional management.
"Both officials have been formally served with their respective charge sheets. The internal processes will proceed strictly in accordance with the City’s disciplinary framework, applicable labour legislation, and municipal policies. The officials will, in due course, appear before the City’s Disciplinary Committee," the Office of the Executive Mayor of the City of Ekurhuleni said in a statement.
