PRETORIA - The Democratic Alliance is taking its fight against changes to the Employment Equity Act to the High Court.
The Act allows the Labour Minister to set sector-specific equity targets.
The DA argues this is unconstitutional and will hamper job creation.
The ANC hit back, saying this shows the party is against transformation and redress.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also defended Employment Equity in his weekly newsletter.
He says not much has changed in who owns, controls and manages the economy.
