eNCA voted SA's most-trusted TV news channel

JOHANNESBURG - For two years in a row, eNCA has claimed the accolade of South Africa's most trusted 24-hour television news brand.

This is according to the 2026 Reuters Institute's Digital News Report.

It undoubtedly confirms what millions of South Africans already know.

The study, which details news consumption and trends around the world, found that eNCA continues to set the benchmark for trusted, impactful, and accessible journalism across multiple platforms.

In the offline market, which includes radio, television and print, eNCA is ranked first with a weekly audience reach of 47%.

It's second only to News24 in the online market with an audience reach of 52%.

eNCA's Managing Director, Norman Munzhelele, has hailed the Reuters Report.

He adds that at a time when audiences are increasingly fragmented and news consumption habits are rapidly changing, eNCA’s impressive performance proves the enduring value of credible journalism, compelling storytelling, and a relentless commitment to keeping all South Africans abreast of what is happening in the country and abroad.

Continue tuning to eNCA because when news happens, you know where to find it first.
