JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has dismissed reports of a radiation leak at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station.
The power utility says no radiation escaped into the environment and there is no risk to the public.
Eskom says minor radioactivity was detected inside a controlled area during routine testing.

It describes this as a normal occurrence during maintenance work on radioactive components.
The utility says the activity was detected by its monitoring systems and managed in line with approved safety procedures.
