JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has recorded a R55-billion loss before tax.
But, Eskom Chief Financial Officer Calib Cassim says this is due to an auditing mistake.

He was releasing the utility’s annual results for the 2024 financial year.
The power utility has confirmed it received a qualified audit opinion from the Auditor General for the financial year in question.
